ADVOCACY
We carry out Advocacy at different levels in the community with the aim of influencing policies, raising awareness, and amplifying the voices of vulnerable groups. Through campaigns, community engagement, stakeholder dialogues, and policy recommendations, we work to protect rights, promote social justice, and drive systemic change for a better and more inclusive society.
EDUCATION
Education is a vital activity for Katrot Foundation, focused on providing access to learning opportunities for vulnerable and underserved populations. Through initiatives such as school support, literacy programs, vocational training, and awareness campaigns Katrot Foundation help bridge educational gaps, build skills, and empower individuals to improve their lives thereby breaking cycles of poverty and fostering long-term development.
RESEARCH
Research is an essential activity for us at Katrot Foundation. This helps us identify community needs, assess challenges, and design effective interventions. By gathering data, analyzing trends, and evaluating programs, we generate evidence that guides decision-making, improves project outcomes, and influences policy change. This ensures that our programs are impactful, relevant, and sustainable.
AGRICULTURE
Agriculture is a one of our key activity that focuses on promoting food security, sustainable farming practices, and economic empowerment for vulnerable communities. We support farmers with training, resources, and modern techniques to increase productivity while protecting the environment. Through agricultural initiatives, Katrot Foundation helps reduce poverty, improve nutrition, and build resilient livelihoods.
NATURE CONSERVATION
Nature conservation activity focuses on protecting ecosystems, preserving biodiversity, and promoting sustainable use of natural resources. We engage in tree planting, environmental education, climate action, and advocacy to safeguard the planet for future generations. These supports human well-being by ensuring a healthier and more sustainable environment.
HEALTH
Our Health programmes are designed at improving the well-being of vulnerable populations. We provide healthcare support through medical outreach, health education, awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and access to essential services. By promoting preventive care, healthy living, and referral to treatment, this programmes help reduce health inequalities and strengthen community resilience.
MEDIA, ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Media, arts, and entertainment serve is one of our core programme used to raise awareness, educate communities, and inspire social change. Through documentaries, theater, music, visual arts, and digital media, we amplify voices of the vulnerable, promote cultural expression, and address critical social issues. These creative approaches engage more vulnerable individuals, break stigma, and foster collective action for positive transformation.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Our Economic empowerment programme helps vulnerable individuals and communities build sustainable livelihoods. We provide skills training, entrepreneurship support, access to microfinance, and capacity-building programs to reduce poverty and dependency. By fostering self-reliance and financial stability, these activities enable vulnerable people to improve their quality of life and contribute meaningfully to society.
GENDER BASED VIOLENCE (GBV)
We work in addressing gender-based violence by protecting the rights, safety, and dignity of vulnerable groups, especially women and girls. We provide support services such as counseling and legal aid, while also running awareness campaigns and advocacy to challenge harmful norms and influence policies. These efforts aim to prevent abuse, empower survivors, and promote equality and justice in society.
